Environmental Problems

In Mountain View there is a lot environmental challenges. For example, we have a lot of pollution in our community. For example there is a lot of garbage. Some people help out with the problem by throwing their waste in the garbage can. However, it is even more important not to produce so much waste to begin with! So much of what we buy comes in plastic packaging and every time we go to the grocery store we waste more and more plastic bags. Some people reduce the amount of garbage they produce by reusing plastic bags and not buying so many things.

There is also some air pollution in our community. This is because there are lots and lots of cars. People in our community seem to drive everywhere. Some people help out by walking to places nearby instead of driving. Others carpool or buy cars that don't use so much gas. - Max and Uziel
